Privacy Policy

over your own data.

At The Great Hello Foundation, we believe that begins with over your own data. This policy documents exactly what we collect, what we do not collect, who touches your data, and how to exercise your full rights. We have written it to be read, not to be buried.

Effective April 21, 2026

01 · What We Collect

Data minimization & purpose limitation.

We collect the minimum information required to provide the service you requested. We do not build profiles, run analytics on individual behavior, or sell your data. The following is the complete list of what we store and why.

📖
Digital Manuscript Access
When you request access to The Great Hello manuscript, we store your name and email address in our Supabase database. This information is used solely to generate and deliver a unique access link via Brevo, our email delivery partner. We do not use it for marketing without your explicit consent.
🤝
Volunteer, Partner & Career Inquiries
When you submit a volunteer, partnership, or career inquiry through our Join page, we store the information you provide—name, email, organization, skills, and any written responses—in our Supabase database. This data is used exclusively to evaluate and manage that professional relationship. It is not shared with third parties.
🔔
Launch Notifications
If you sign up to be notified when The Great Hello book becomes available, we store your name and email address for that purpose only. You may unsubscribe at any time.
💳
Donations
Donation transactions are processed by Zeffy, our nonprofit fundraising platform. The Great Hello Foundation does not handle or store payment card information. Donor information collected during the donation process is governed by Zeffy’s Privacy Policy.
02 · Harbor & Audit

The zero-trace protocol.

Harbor and the Audit are engineered to leave no trace. This is not a policy preference—it is a technical architecture. There is no storage call in the code. Nothing is written to a database. Nothing is logged on our servers.

Harbor AI Guide
Conversations are ephemeral by design.
Harbor is powered by the Anthropic API. Your conversation is sent to Anthropic’s servers to generate a response and is not stored on our infrastructure at any point. Anthropic’s commercial API terms explicitly state that inputs and outputs from API products are not used to train their models by default. This is a documented, contractual commitment—distinct from Anthropic’s consumer products (Claude.ai). To verify: privacy.anthropic.com.

On our end: no chat logs, no message history, no personal stories are stored on our servers. Double-tapping or double-clicking clears the conversation from your browser’s local memory immediately. Closing the tab does the same.
Audit
Self-directed and non-persistent.
Responses to the Audit are processed entirely in your browser in real time. No responses, scores, or patterns are transmitted to our servers or stored anywhere. The results exist only in your reading of them. When you navigate away, they are gone.
03 · Third-Party Providers

Who touches your data.

We work with a small, carefully selected group of providers. Each is listed below with their specific role, what data they receive, and a direct link to their privacy policy. We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics tools.
